CHANDIGHARH - SHIMLA - MANALI - DHARAMSALA - DALHOUSIE - KHAJJIAR - AMRITSAR
Arrive Chandigarh Railway Station / airport & on arrival meet and greet by our representative who will take you to the hotel after fresh up Start your city tour with Chandi Mandir is very famous temple located near Chandigarh. Temple is dedicated to Chandi, Goddess of power. The city named after this temple. Then visit Mansa Devi temple, according to Hindu mythology, the head of Devi Sati had fallen over here. During Navratras people from all over the country visit this place to get blessings of Goddess Mansa Devi. After that visit Ancient Shiv Temple which is located near Mansa Devi Temple. Temple is also known as Saketri Temple. There is a big festival in the temple on the sacred day of Shivratri by evening return to hotel, overnight stay at chandighar.
After breakfast drive from Chandigarh travel by road to Shimla (121 Kms 3 to 4 hrs to shimla). Shimla is the capital of Himachal Pradesh and is Queen of Hill Stations & upon arrival Check-in at hotel & after fresh up visit Shimla sightseeing is the most exciting one where one can take the enjoyment of the pleasurable climate of the hill station along with its scenic beauty. Visit Jakhoo Hill, Glen, Summer Hill, Chadwick Falls, Prospect Hill, Institute of Advance Studies, Sankat Mochan Temple, Taradevi Temple and Himachal State Museum. Morning after breakfast visit to Kufri sightseeing, India’s one of the best holiday paradise Kufri in Shimla is beautifully tucked on an altitude of 2,622 meter. The place is a tourist hotspot for its awesome scenic and sports activities( GREEN VALLEY, , KUFRI, INDIRA TOURIST PARK, MINI ZOO & FAGU VALLEY ).In afternoon at 3:00 pm return to Shimla and visit “The Mall, The Ridge, Kalibari Temple , Lakkar bazzar , Lower bazaar, Local Market & return back to hotel & overnight stay at shimla.
Breakfast at hotel & drive to Manali. Manali is a small hill town in Kullu district. It is known for snow caped mountains, meadows of flowers, vivacious valleys and beautiful waterfalls 280kms 7to 8 hrs to manali & on arrival Check-in at hotel & Rest of the at your leisure or we suggest you to walk along the Mall Road. & overnight stay at hotel in Manali.
After breakfast, drive 51 kms from Manali to Rohtang pass. It offers a grand view of Mountain, Glaciers and peaks. This pass is open from June to October & afternoon return back to Manali, after lunch visit manali sightseeing Hadimba Mata temple which was built in 1533 AD is also known as Dhoongri Temple dedicated to goddess Hadimba. Temple is located in the wooden forest. Temple hosted a big festival in May. Then visit Manu temple which lies in old Manali and 3 kms from main bazaar. Then proceeding to Vashist bath on the bank of river beas towards Rohtang pass. Natural hot spring water bathing tanks for Gents and Ladies. After that visit Nehru Kund natural spring of cold and clear water named after our first Prime Minister Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru who used to drink water from here during their stay in Manali. After breakfast drive 230 kms 6hrs from Manali to Dharamshala & on arrival Check in at hotel & rest of the day is free for leisure & We can suggest you to enjoy a walk along the mall road, where Tibetan refugees display and sell their crafts & back to hotel & overnight stay at hotel in Dharamshala.
After breakfast, visit Norbulingka institute which is perhaps one of its best in the world. Institute has its own Temple, Museum, Meditation hall, one thousand, one hundred and seventy-three images of the Buddha decorate the forty four foot high temple hall. Than we visit residential school run by Tibetan refugees, also visit Tibetan crafts village, where Tibetan refugees are imparted training for making various handicrafts, carpet as well as tailoring & evening free for shopping in the market & return to hotel. Morning after breakfast leave for Dalhousie ( 130 KM 4 to 5 hrs drive ). Situated at 2039 mts in the outer slopes of the Dhaula Dhar range with its natural beauty and natural surroundings. On arrival check- in at the hotel. Rest of the day for leisure and shopping & evening return back to hotel & overnight at the dalhousie.
Full day sightseeing of Khajjiar, 25 kms from Dalhousie. It’s one of the most scenic saucer shaped Plateau and is surrounded by dense pine and deodar forests, its beauty has further been enhanced by a small lake in the center with a floating island and 9-hole golf course & here are the other interesting places to cover. Return back to Dalhousie & overnight stay in hotel at dalhousie.
After Breakfast leave from Dalhousie and proceed to Amritsar (190 km 6 to 7 hrs) on arrival check in at hotel and later visit Indo-Pak Wagah Border to watch Flag Retreat Ceremony- Wagah, an army outpost on Indo-Pak border 30 Kms from Amritsar where the daily highlight is the evening “Beating the Retreat” ceremony. Soldiers from both countries march in perfect drill, going through the steps of bringing down their respective national flags. As the sun goes down, nationalistic fervor rises and lights are switched on marking the end of the day amidst thunderous applause & return to back hotel & overnight stay in Amritsar.
After breakfast. Start your full day city tour with the blessings of Golden Temple, the most important Sikh shrine which is also called Mecca for the Sikhs is a living symbol of the spiritual and historical traditions of the Sikhs & then visit Jallianwala Bagh, where, on April 13, 1919, British and Gurkha soldiers opened fire on an unarmed forbidden gathering, killing hundreds of civilians. After lunch visit Maharaja Ranjit Singh Summer Palace Museum- The summer place of Maharaja Ranjit Singh which is situated in the heart of Ram Bagh of Amritsar & return back to hotel & overnight at Amritsar.
After breakfast check out from hotel & drop at amritsar Railway Station / Airport to board your train / flight for onward destination.
