After settling in, proceed for a city tour, visiting the Shankaracharya Temple on the highest hill of Srinagar, followed by a visit to the famous Mughal Gardens—Chashmashahi, Nishat, and Shalimar—which were the Mughal Emperors' idea of paradise. These gardens are now popular picnic spots. You will also have the opportunity to visit a handicraft shop where you can purchase local handmade items like shawls, jackets, bed covers, paper mache, carpets, and more! In the evening, take a leisurely stroll along Dal Lake, exploring the local markets.

Today, enjoy a full-day excursion to Sonamarg, known as the 'Meadow of Gold.' This picturesque location is the last stop in the Kashmir district, with Ladakh beginning just beyond it. Situated at an altitude of 2,743 meters, Sonamarg is popular for summer trout and mahseer fishing in the fast-flowing Sindh River. You may also opt for a pony ride to one of the nearby glaciers (at your own expense) for some fun in the snow. Return to your hotel in Srinagar in the evening.

In the morning, drive to Gulmarg, the Meadow of Flowers. The route from Srinagar to Gulmarg is captivating and will leave you mesmerized by its scenic beauty. Gulmarg is world-famous for skiing and snowboarding, and it once hosted European visitors during the British Raj, making it a unique hill resort. Gulmarg boasts an 18-hole golf course, and you can also enjoy a Gondola Cable Car Ride, the highest and longest in Asia (at your own expense—book your tickets online). Enjoy photography, horse riding, and shopping in this stunning snow-clad setting, and take the gondola ride to Kongdoori and Apharwat.

Early in the morning, depart for Pahalgam, the Valley of Shepherds, which sits at the confluence of the Lidder River and Sheeshnag Lake. En route, visit the Awantipura Ruins, an ancient 1100-year-old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, built by King Awantivarman. Upon arrival in Pahalgam, take in the stunning beauty of the area, or enjoy a scenic walk to Baisaran, located about 2 km from Pahalgam.

After breakfast, visit Aru Valley, Betab Valley, and Chandanwari by car (at your own expense). Aru is a charming village located 11 km upstream along the Lidder River and serves as a starting point for treks to the Kolahoi Glacier. The scenic route offers beautiful campsites, and one of the highlights is the lush meadow of Baisaran, surrounded by pine forests. On your way to Chandanwari, stop by Hajan and Betab Valley.
