Day 1: Arrive Delhi

Upon arrival at Delhi, airport / railway station, meet our representative and assist you to transfer to pre-booked hotel, on arrival at hotel & our representative shall assist you with the check in process and hand over the welcome kit comprising of all travel documents. Day 2: Delhi -Agra ( 205 km/ 4 Hrs)

Morning after breakfast drive to Agra. En-route visits Fatehpur Sikri. The abandoned city of Mughals. The buildings within Fatehpur Sikri are a unique blend of different architectural traditions. Though the general layout and concept of the buildings conform to the Islamic style of architecture, the actual buildings (mainly palaces), their ornate columns, arches, carving style, etc., show a strong Hindu style in general and that of Gujarat and Rajasthan in particular. Upon arrival at agra, check into the hotel. Afternoon proceed for sightseeing. Agra has found its mention in the famous Hindu epic Mahabharat as the forest of Agraban close to Mathura. Badal Singh founded the city in 1475. Sikandar Lodhi made Agra his capital city. Later, Babur defeated the Lodhis to capture the city situated on the banks of River Yamuna and thus, the long association of Mughals with Agra started Taj Mahal. The Mughal love of architecture translated into beautiful monuments such as+= the wonder monument of our country which needs no introduction as this impressive monument tells the history behind its construction. This white beauty was built by Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, who died during a child birth. The construction took over 22 years in completing the monument and around 20000 workers worked day and night on it. Agra Fort also known as Red Fort was also built by Shah Jahan & has spent eight years of his life as a prisoner in this fort and use to spend his time just gazing at the magnificent view of Taj Mahal that could be seen from here. The fort comprises of a number of palaces & gardens in it which interest various visitors. Lastly we visit the tomb built by Empress Noor Jahan in memory of her father – Itmad-ud-Daulah. Evening is free to explore local market of Agra and shop for some souvenirs & return back to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel. (Agra)

Day 3: Agra – Jaipur (235 km/4.25 Hrs)

Morning after breakfast drive by surface to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned red sand stone city, constructed by Ruler Akbar is an exciting experience. Also visit the Buland Darwaza, the biggest doorway in the world. Rajasthan’s beautiful Pink City Jaipur, was the stronghold of a clan of rulers whose three hill forts and series of palaces in the city are important attractions. Known as the Pink City because of the colour of the stones used exclusively in the walled city, Jaipur’s bazaars sell embroidered leather shoes, blue pottery, tie and dye scarves and other exotic wares. Western Rajasthan itself forms a convenient circuit, in the heart of the Thar Desert that has shaped its history, lifestyles and architecture. On arrival check into hotel. Rest of the day free for leisure activities.

In the evening Indian Horizons will arrange a short visit of Chokhi Dhani Village followed by Rajasthani Dinner. Chokhi Dhani is a concept to join the rajasthani tribs from the world. Nowadays tourists are very much aware of rajasthan and its culture but still they are far far away from its roots. Real rajasthan is still there in villages, the paintings, art Bani Thani, the wall decorations, the cow dung plaster, the pure food, the fresh air, the evening performances, the enthusiasm, the ‘manuhar’ (mouthful catering), the traditions, the costumes and at last but not least the feelings. Day 4: Inn Jaipur

Morning after Breakfast in the hotel and later we proceed for city tour of jaipur. The first interesting place you will visit is Amber fort situated on a hilltop; guests enjoy the elephant ride to the fort, from the top of the fort one can have a magnificent view of the city, the various marvelous pavilions and courtyards of the palace are a delight to see. After lunch in city restaurant, we visit rest of the sightseeing, The City Palace & Museum firstly which has a number of attractions in it. Jantar Mantar located close by the City Palace is an observatory that was used in past times and the last but not the least is Hawa Mahal – a pyramid shaped pink colour structure which has 953 niche windows used by Royal ladies to watch the everyday life of the people. Day 5: Jaipur – Kota – Bundi ( 207 km/4Hrs)

In the morning, after breakfast you will leave from Jaipur and proceed towards Kota. After reaching at kota, you will explore the Taragarh Fort, the Palace and the 84-pillared cenotaph. Thereafter, you will move & drive for Bundi, on arrival at bundi and check in at the hotel, Overnight stay in hotel. (Bundi)

Day 6: Bundi – Chhitaurgarh – Udaipur ( 260 km/5Hrs)

Morning after breakfast, check out at hotel & leave from Bundi for Udaipur via Chhitaurgarh, on arrival at udaipur & after fresh up & thereafter, you will leave for visiting local sightseeing of City Palace Museum and Jagdish Temple. Overnight stay at hotel. (Udaipur)

Day 7: Inn Udaipur

Morning after breakfast visit local sightseeing tour of udaipur is planned for you, with City Sahelion Ki Bari, a cruise in Lake Pichola and a visit to Jag Mandir Palace as its highlights. Day 8: Udaipur – Ranakpur – Jodhpur (254 km/ 7 Hrs)

Morning after breakfast drive by surface to Jodhpur. Enroute, you will visit Ranakpur Jain Temples, belonging to 15th century. On arrival check into hotel. Afternoon visits Mehrangarh Fort, The most magnificent fort in Jodhpur is the Mehrangarh Fort. It is situated on a 150m high hill. Rao Jodha, the then chief of Rathore clan, constructed it in 1459. There are a number of attractions within the fort like several palaces, galleries, a museum, temples and so on. Afternoon visit the Jaswant Thada, located half way up the interminably long road that climbs onwards to the fort, is the traditional cremation ground of the rulers of Jodhpur. Taking pride of place amongst the ornamental gardens and chattris is the fabulous white marble memorial to Jaswant Singh II, built in 1899. Day 9: Inn Jodhpur

Today we take a village safari to Bishnoi’s village – Bishnoi’s are very well known conservationist in the world. We also have lunch in one of the Bishnoi houses. We return back to Jodhpur and keep the sometime free for shopping and other personal activities. Overnight at hotel. (Jodhpur)

Day 10: Jodhpur – Jaisalmer( 274km/5.30Hrs)

Early in the morning after breakfast, you will visit Mehrangarh Fort, Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jaswant Thada, and Clock Tower. By afternoon, you will leave for Jaisalmer, visiting 7th century Ossian Jain temple enroute. On arrival at jodhpur, you will check in, at the hotel and retire for the night stay in hotel. (Jodhpur.)

Day 11: Inn Jaisalmer

Day 12: Jaisalmer – Bikaner( 330 km/ 7 Hrs)

Day 13: Bikaner – Nawalgarh – Mandawa ( 188km/2Hrs)

Morning after bath, have your breakfast at hotel & leaving from bikaner proceeding towards Mandawa. Enroute visit to Nawalgarh Mandawa. (Nawalgarh is renowned all over the world for its exquisitely painted havelis that are beautifully designed and carved. The havelis are the mansions that boast of the beautifully carved wooden gates and the painted walls. The ornate iron and brass fittings revealed the affluence of the owner of the haveli.) On arrival at Mandawa, check in hotel and after freshen up. Thereafter, you will visit the magnificent havelis of the place & here you can take a walking tour of the old havelies in this region belonging to some of the leading business families of the country; you can also visit the Mandawa Castle.
