Agra, situated on the banks of the Yamuna River in Uttar Pradesh, is a city synonymous with the golden age of the Mughal Empire. It is home to three UNESCO World Heritage sites, including the Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, making it a must-visit destination for travelers.
The Taj Mahal, a monument of love built by Emperor Shah Jahan in white marble for his wife Mumtaz Mahal, is a masterpiece of symmetry and art. Seeing the Taj Mahal at sunrise or sunset, as the marble shifts color from soft pink to golden white, is a magical, once-in-a-lifetime sight.
Agra also boasts the massive Agra Fort, a red sandstone fortress that served as the main seat of the Mughal Emperors, and Fatehpur Sikri, the preserved ghost city of Akbar. The city’s narrow lanes are filled with traditional crafts, including marble inlay work (Pietra Dura) and delicious sweets like Petha.

Morning after breakfast proceeds for a guided city tour of Old & New Delhi. The commercial and business hub of India, Delhi has been witness to a tumultuous history of uprising and falling of many empires. This hustling and bustling metropolitan city comprises of seven cities that were built by different emperors from time to time. It is perhaps the only city in the world that presents so many contrasts at once - there is the old-age charm and ruins of Old Delhi and there are strong and mighty giant buildings of New Delhi, there are the chic, fashionable belles of South Delhi and there are India lasses dressed in traditional and ethnic dresses, there are sparkling cars firing through wide roads and there are cycle-rickshaws in the streets of more congested areas. Morning after breakfast drive by surface to Mandawa. On arrival check into hotel. Afternoon visit the villages of Dundlod, Mandawa in the Shekhavati region. Mandawa was founded Thakur Nawal Singh in 1755. Visit the museum having a collection of armories, costumes of ancestors, canons from 1820, ancient coins, numismatic collection and other preserved items. See the Cenotaphs, Step wells, beautifully painted Havelis & Old Streets. Rest of the day free for leisure activities & overnight at hotel. (Mandawa)
Day 4: Mandawa - Bikaner (200 kms/ 4 hrs)
Morning after breakfast drive by surface to bikaner on arrival check into hotel. Afternoon proceed for a guided city tour of Bikaner visiting Junagarh fort - built between by Raja Rai Singh, one of the trusted Rajputs general of the Akbar. The fort is formidable structure encircled by a moat and has some beautiful places within. These places made in red sandstone and marble, make a picturesque ensemble of courtyards, windows dotted all over the structure. It has 96-mt long walls, with 37 bastions and 2 entrances. The main entrance of the fort is Sun Gate. Also visit the other ancient Havelies, Camel-breeding farm (open 3-5 pm) etc & return back to hotel & overnight at hotel. (Bikaner)
Morning after breakfast drive by surface to Jaisalmer - the Golden City of India. En-route tour of the tourist attractions of Gajner. The chief attraction in Gajner is the Gajner Palace. Gajner Palace was built by Maharaja Sir Ganga Singh Ji of Bikaner to be used as a hunting resort for the royal family and guests. Built over an area of 6000 acres, the palace complex houses its own sanctuary housing endangered species. Morning after breakfast drive by surface to Jodhpur, on arrival check into hotel. Afternoon visit Mehrangarh Fort: The most magnificent fort in Jodhpur is the Mehrangarh Fort. It is situated on a 150m high hill. Rao Jodha, the then chief of Rathore clan, constructed it in 1459. There are a number of attractions within the fort like several palaces, galleries, a museum, temples and so on. Afternoon visit the Jaswant Thada, located half way up the interminably long road that climbs onwards to the fort, is the traditional cremation ground of the rulers of Jodhpur. Taking pride of place amongst the ornamental gardens and chattris is the fabulous white marble memorial to Jaswant Singh II, built in 1899. The intricately carved white marble temple of Adinath, is perhaps the most well-preserved and impressive examples of Western Indian Temple architecture. Morning after breakfast now your city starts of Udaipur. Visit Fateh sagar Lake, built by Maharana Fateh Singh in 1754 A.D. Visit the Jagdish Temple, the largest and most venerated temple of Udaipur. Built in 1651 A.D. by Maharana Jagat Singh II, the temple is decorated with friezes. Visit the "Garden of Maidens" Sahelion-Ki-Bari", consisting of an ornamental pool with delicately carved chhatries of black and white marble and soft stone. Also visit the Maharana's city palace, an imposing edifice of granite and marble. Afternoon day free for leisure activities. Rajasthan's beautiful Pink City Jaipur, was the stronghold of a clan of rulers whose three hill forts and series of palaces in the city are important attractions. Known as the Pink City because of the colour of the stones used exclusively in the walled city, Jaipur's bazaars sell embroidered leather shoes, blue pottery, tie and dye scarves and other exotic wares. Western Rajasthan itself forms a convenient circuit, in the heart of the Thar desert that has shaped its history, lifestyles and architecture. On arrival check into hotel. Breakfast in the hotel and later we proceed for a guided tour of the city of Jaipur, on arrival check in hotel, after check in we proceed for city tour of jaipur. The first interesting place you will visit is Amber fort situated on a hilltop; guests enjoy the elephant ride to the fort. From the top of the fort one can have a magnificent view of the city, the various marvelous pavilions and courtyards of the palace are a delight to see. After lunch in city restaurant, we visit rest of the sightseeing, The City Palace & Museum firstly which has a number of attractions in it. Jantar Mantar located close by the City Palace is an observatory that was used in past times and the last but not the least is Hawa Mahal - a pyramid shaped pink colour structure which has 953 niche windows used by Royal ladies to watch the everyday life of the people. After breakfast drive by surface to Agra via Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned city of Mughals. The buildings within Fatehpur Sikri are a unique blend of different architectural traditions. Though the general layout and concept of the buildings conform to the Islamic style of architecture, the actual buildings (mainly palaces), their ornate columns, arches, carving style, etc., show a strong Hindu style in general and that of Gujarat and Rajasthan in particular. Morning after breakfast proceeds for Agra city tour. The wonderful and most travelled city in India which posses some of the marvelous monuments in it.Taj Mahal - the wonder monument of our country which needs no introduction as this impressive monument tells the history behind its construction. This white beauty was built by Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, who died during a child birth. The construction took over 22 years in completing the monument and around 20000 workers worked day and night on it. Agra Fort also known as Red Fort was also built by Shah Jahan & has spent eight years of his life as a prisoner in this fort and use to spend his time just gazing at the magnificent view of Taj Mahal that could be seen from here. The fort comprises of a number of palaces & gardens in it which interest various visitors. Lastly we visit the tomb built by Empress Noor Jahan in memory of her father - Itmad-ud-Daulah.
